Founded in 2015, The Gateway Review: a Journal of Magical Realism began as an independent biannual print literary journal featuring the best contemporary magical realism, surrealism, and new fabulism written by new and emerging, along with established and seasoned, writers.
Starting in the summer of 2020, The Gateway Review will transition to a print annual (with periodic online features) that will publish in December of each year.
